Understanding Attention
LiveGaze is our flagship initiative combining cognitive neuroscience and the arts to reveal the hidden theatre of attention. It uses real-time eye-tracking, video filtering, and AI-enhanced augmentation to stream and visualize what performers, visitors, or audience members are looking at—inviting others to share their perspective in the moment.
We’ve brought this to life in events and activities with:
Residenz Theater (Munich, Germany)
Bavarian Radio Symphonic Orchestra (Munich, Germany)
Haus der Kunst, Inside other spaces exhibition (Munich, Germany)
As well as :
Centro de la Ciencia (Buenos Aires, Argentina)
Studio Patrick Hughes (London, UK)
Museum of Tomorrow (Rio de Janeiro)
All our attention-based projects are:
🔸 Self-initiated, when we identify a gap in how attention is understood or represented
🔸 Collaborative, when we partner with institutions, museums, theatres, or media projects
🔸 Supported by special funding, when targeted innovations or outreach are needed
We trained volunteers from all backgrounds to engage with the tools, insights, and questions around attention—turning research into shared, tangible understanding.
